Setting the code on your lock is very easy. The item is set to 0-0-0 at the factory, but you can choose your own 3 digits which you can easily recall (birthday, address, etc.). The lock may differ depending on the type of item you have, but usually the steps to set the code on your lock are very similar for every item.

1. Open your suitcase by sliding or pushing the TSA button. Enclosed in your item you will find locking instructions. Alternatively please check our instruction videos or visit Support & Go for PDF's and videos that are specifically for your product.
2. If there is a small pinpoint button on the lock, push it in with a pen. If there is no such button, push and hold the button to open your suitcase towards the dials.
3. Rotate the dials to your preferred code.
4. If your suitcase has the pinpoint button, you can confirm your code by pushing or sliding the button to open your suitcase. If there was no pinpoint button, release the button that you were holding.
5. Your combination is now set! For your peace of mind, we advice to take a picture of your code set.

If you forgot the code of your TSA lock, there are still a few options to get it open and reset.

1. Try the default code
The factory code on Samsonite TSA locks is 0-0-0. If you have never changed the combination, try this first.

2. Visit an authorised Samsonite dealer
Take your product to an authorised Samsonite dealer. The staff have the proper tools to unlock the case and can help you set a new combination. You can find your nearest Samsonite store or dealer via the Samsonite Store Locator.

3. Send your product to the UK Service Centre
If you cannot visit a dealer, you can send your product to our official repair partner, K2 Global. Include your proof of purchase to avoid possible repair costs if the issue is covered by warranty. You can book a repair service and arrange shipment via Fix My Bag.

There is no key supplied for your TSA lock. The keyhole you see is for TSA or customs agents only, so they can open and relock your luggage during security inspections without damaging your suitcase.
