How does Samsonite measure luggage sizes and weights?
Samsonite measures all luggage items, including suitcases, cabin bags and backpacks, from the very outer edges, taking handles, wheels, bottom glides, side pockets and other external parts into account.
Measurements are performed in controlled lab conditions, and small variations are possible, so tolerances of up to 1.5 cm in dimensions and around 5% in weight and volume cannot be completely excluded.

To use the expandability, start by packing your suitcase with the expansion zip closed so your belongings stay compact and your luggage remains easier to handle. When you need more space, fully unzip the expansion zipper, repack or add extra items, and then close the main zipper without forcing it, making sure the case still complies with your airline’s maximum cabin or check-in size.

A Smart Sleeve is a strap or pass-through panel on the back of selected Samsonite bags and backpacks that lets you slide the bag over the telescopic handle of your suitcase, so both pieces travel as one. This keeps your hands free, reduces strain on your shoulders and makes it easier to move through airports, stations and city streets.
To use the Smart Sleeve, extend the handle of your upright or spinner suitcase, lift your bag by the top handles and slide the Smart Sleeve straight down over the suitcase handle until it rests securely on top. Make sure the bag sits flat and stable on the case before you start walking, and avoid overloading it so the suitcase remains well balanced and easy to manoeuvre.

How can I attach my personalised nametag?
To attach your personalised nametag, first slide the upper part of the tag to the left to open it. Then loop it securely through the dedicated strap or loop on your suitcase or bag and slide the tag closed again, making sure it clicks or sits firmly in place so it cannot come loose during your trip.
