Can I easily repair my product myself?

Many of our Samsonite products are designed for easy repairs, and you can often replace spare parts yourself. For example, if you need to replace a part on your suitcase, simply unscrew the screws from the inside. For fabric suitcases, you can open the sewn-in zipper and gently push the fabric to the side to access the necessary areas. To guide you through the process, we’ve provided instructional videos below, showing you how simple and straightforward these repairs can be.

What if I prefer to have my luggage repaired in an authorized repair center in the UK?

If you prefer to have your Samsonite luggage repaired at an authorised repair centre in the UK, you can send it directly to our official service partner, K2 Global. You can easily book an inspection for your Samsonite suitcase or bag via their online service portal. Make sure you include a copy of your original receipt, warranty card or online order confirmation if you want to make a warranty claim, as this will be used to validate your Samsonite warranty.

Yes, you can also bring your Samsonite product to an authorised Samsonite re-seller in the UK to arrange a repair. Your local Samsonite dealer can help you with assessing the issue and organising the repair of your luggage. If the repair is too complex to be handled in-store, your product will be sent to our official repair centre, K2 Global, for further inspection and service.

If you are in London, you can visit our Samsonite flagship store on Oxford Street, where the Repair Studio is located on the 1st floor. The in-store repair team can help with Samsonite suitcase repairs, smaller fixes and advice on warranty service.

Which documents do I need for an inspection of my product?

For an inspection of your Samsonite product, you will need to provide a copy of your proof of purchase or order confirmation. Alternatively, if you have your warranty card, it should include the purchase date for verification. These documents ensure we can accurately process your request and assist you promptly with any service needs.

  • A copy of your proof of purchase (e.g. receipt or invoice)
  • An order confirmation from an online purchase
  • Alternatively, a warranty card that includes the purchase date

Can I get my product repaired if the defect is not covered by the warranty?

Yes, you can still have your Samsonite product repaired, upon availability of spare parts, even if the defect is not covered by the warranty. Our authorised repair centre will first inspect your item and then let you know whether the repair is chargeable.

If the issue is not covered by warranty, you will receive a clear cost estimate that explains which parts need to be repaired and what the total repair cost will be. You can then decide whether you want to go ahead with the repair or have your product returned without any work being done. If you choose not to proceed, your product will be sent back to you free of charge.

How much would a repair cost?

All products are carefully inspected and assessed by our experts in our authorized repair center. If the product shows a material or production default within the warranty period, the repair will be completed free of charge. If you'd like to know the cost upfront, you can always request a quote for the repair. We will only proceed with the repair once you approve the quote. In the rare event that your product is deemed unrepairable, we will return it to you at no additional cost. We aim to provide transparency and ensure you are fully informed throughout the process.
