Our Proxis and Nexis suitcases are made to withstand years of travel and to join you wherever you want to go. But every now and then, the journey brings a surprise. Rest assured that we have you covered. By buying a Proxis or Nexis suitcase, you are covered by our 10-year global manufacturer’s warranty* (see warranty booklet for conditions). Moreover, during the same period you can benefit from the unique Samsonite wecare programme*.
Your complimentary services
No-questions-asked, worry-free repair service
This service applies to functional damage or defects of your suitcase, including transport damage**. If the damage or defect is covered by the Samsonite wecare programme and cannot be repaired, we will replace your suitcase.
Excluded from the Samsonite wecare repair service are normal wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, cosmetic damage like scratches, dents, stains, colour changes or other non-functional changes in the appearance of the product.
A thorough check-up
We will give your product a thorough overhaul when you book it in for repair or service, cleaning the outer surface and replacing the wheels if necessary, to ensure your suitcase runs as smoothly as the day you first used it.
Free personalisation with embossing
Upon purchase or registration, you will have the opportunity to personalise your suitcase with an embossed leather tag – adding a signature detail to your case.
How does it work?
Register your suitcase
Register your suitcase on MY SAMSONITE where you will be invited to upload your proof of purchase. This way, you won't need to worry anymore about paperwork afterwards. Registration is not mandatory to enjoy the benefits of the Samsonite wecare programme, but will simplify the process.

Repair or replace
Your inquiry will be handled with priority. Within the shortest possible time, our service team will reach out to you to inform you of the next steps to get your suitcase up and rolling.
- For minor and easy-to-fix damage, a repair kit will be sent to you. Samsonite products are designed with ease of repairability in mind, so you’ll be able to fix them without any hassle. Videos are available to guide you through the process.
- In all other cases, Samsonite in its discretion will repair your suitcase or replace it in case the damage or defect is unrepairable.
- For most European countries, free shipping applies. In case of shipping costs, you’ll be informed before any costs are charged.
* Electric and electronic components and connections, cables, adaptors and batteries benefit only from the legal or statutory warranty which may vary from state to state or country to country.
** In case of damage by a third party (particularly airline damages) we recommend to report the damage and file a claim with the carrier immediately in order to be compensated by their insurance.
