I bought it as a birthday gift to myself as I needed an easy to manage case due to a recent dislocated shoulder and it was lovely . Easy to move and glides everywhere.

Samsonite reputation played a big part in this order. It's early days but so far I'm happy with them. Easy to move around and and easy to spot at baggage reclaim. You don't waste a big chunk of your luggage allowance when flying. The cases are sturdy and stylish and come with a decent guarantee.

My go-to case for any long trip/relocation. Bought the 75cm case, as this seems to be the maximum size-limit for checked bags on most major airlines, without incurring size-limit fees (bags/cases larger than this I believe can incur extra-large baggage fees on some airlines). Additionally, I ordered this case online to pick-up at the Tottenham Court Road store in London. The service I received from the store team member (store deputy manager), Charlene was amazing! The store was very busy, however Charlene multitasked to assure me and the other customers that she was aware we were waiting and will assist us as soon as she was free; thanking us for our patience. Charlene was very friendly and had great product knowledge. 10/10 store experience, even with the wait time!

Having been in the market for a check in case when I saw Proxis in an early stage I was instantly convinced to wait 18 months for Proxis to arrive! Along side a sleek shiny design, Proxis combines both innovation through its standout new material Roxkin with a lightweight design and a new first in class environmentally friendly Warranty program We Care. Proxis is for the true traveller that lives by and needs to rely on their luggage.

We easily fitted everything we needed for 2 weeks holiday in Bali. However, on our first time using the suitcases, they must of been handled really badly by the airline/ airport and one of them had a large dent. Samsonite claims that this particular model is made out of the material that „bounces back" into shape. Unfortunately not all bounced back still leaving a noticeable dent. You can find suitcases for 1/4 the prices that do that.

The personalisation (engraving) is a nice touch (shame the Samsonite symbol is not available to add!). Although I recommend this suitcase, the 4 star result is for two reasons: firstly, no more inside zipped pocket... Yes, the cover for one half of the suitcase has a big/flat pocket but older models had a zipped pocket on the side, good for small items, jewellery etc. @Samsonite: please bring it back! Secondly, the OUTSIDE appears to stain easily... After a recent mid-week trip I discovered my shampoo bottle, that was inside a plastic bag, had leaked a bit and the shampoo made contact with the inside of the casing (I then realised the bag had a few small holes :-(... Bizarrely, this caused a stain/discolouring visible on the OUTSIDE of the case. While not a massive problem (I accept that travel cases get damaged etc) it is a bit surprising for such an expensive suitcase... That said, I recommend this suitcase, especially in the green colour! Love it!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from Coping so far My Proxis survived three weeks in Latin America including being lugged on and off international flights, domestic flights, trains and buses. There is one very small dent and a few scratches, but wheels still work fine and importantly so does TSA lock (unlike a low-end case from an alternative provider that I also took, where the TSA combo-lock somehow managed to change its code leading to much stress!). My one criticism is that when lifting with the top handle (when bag is stood upright on its wheels) leads to a lot of strain on the zip due to the flexible nature of the case, and a slightly misshapen appearance with the side with the handle now sitting slightly proud of the side with no handle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anatoli from Absolute scam I bought a luggage 2 years ago On the 1st year the wheels broke (they gave me free one to replace, but what it matter when they gonna break again [it did], very poor quality, ) recently the zipper broke and they refused collection because I dont have a box. They are good because they offer free repair. But what's the point to buy low quality luggage, for alot of money and send it to repair once every year. I am not the 1st one this is been happening to lots of customers. Most of the 5star reviews are obviously ai generated it cant be more obvious Please check all 1star reviews and see what I am talking about , same problems zipper, wheels , awful repair department

Rated 1 out of 5 by Wayne from Poor design and looks great but not robust I bought this recently and used it on its first trip to Tenerife and I have to say it’s definitely poor design As previous complaints it scratch so easy and the material makes it really slippery so when being transported on airport trucks can easily drop off due to its smooth nature. Also the shape as it’s not square and slightly rounded means doesn’t stack well and slips off ! On its first outing to Tenerife it came off the carousel damaged on the corner severely absolutely crumbled ! Obviously dropped from a height. But it was shocking to see having had previous Samsonite luggage how easy this failed on first day out. I have no confidence in its design at all.

The shell is not only scratched but whatever the shell is made with has pierced in places. The material is neither robust nor substantial and cannot withstand the airport process. The suitcase has been an absolute waste of money .Customer Services have been their usual unhelpful selves . Appallingl service. Thoroughly disappointed.

The suitcase took weeks to arrive, I thought I was buying from a quality company. Went online to read Trust Pilots reviews and there were reams of the same disappointing customer service reviews. I don't imagine this will get to Samsonite's website for other customers to see so I will too post on Trust Pilot.

But on its first outing - a short haul flight - it came off the carousel with the front dented and caved in. Luckily I didn't have fragile objects inside or they would have been broken. A very disappointing, poor quality item and certainly not worth the price tag. Avoid.
