The cabin luggage guide

The cabin luggage guide

Different airlines have varying size and weight rules for cabin luggage allowances. Some might charge extra fees if your hand luggage size is too large or too heavy. Samsonite is on hand to help you make the right choice for your plane trip so your journey is as hassle free as possible. Below, you'll find all airline cabin luggage sizes and we have a number of options per airline so you’re sure to find something which suits you.*

Underseater vs overhead luggage

Underseat luggage is carry-on luggage that fits under the airplane seat in front of you. It’s a practical luggage solution, as you can have your valuables right at your feet. Our underseaters fit at least a couple of days’ worth of clothing.

Overhead luggage is larger hand luggage you need to store in the overhead bin. This includes small rolling suitcases and duffle bags. Our overhead cabin luggage comes in different sizes and you can choose between hard, soft and aluminium materials.
